Happy New Year to you all! We certainly enjoyed a two week break with our family over the Christmas period but we are now back and ready to conquer another year ahead!
I thought I would share with you one of our final designs and installations from 2019. This has to be one of my favourite projects so far and when you see the after photos I am sure you will understand why!
Our customers approached us and knew that they wanted to update their kitchen. We worked closely with them to ensure that the layout and design was just what they were after. This included a lot of bespoke elements, such as a reduced depth space tower and the superior Blum legrabox drawers.
Here are some of the before photos:-
We project managed the entire kitchen, including the plumbing, electrical works, plastering, painting and flooring.
Our customers chose a two tone grey kitchen in a true handle less style , with graphite on the bottom units and tall larders with dust grey on the wall units. This was paired with the most beautiful Silestone quartz worktops, which are a pale grey with a white veining running through.
Here are some photos during the process:-
Within the design we incorporated some great storage solution ideas, we had a corner pull out which is perfect for a blind corner cupboard as you get to make the most of the space and its easily accessible.
We included many sets of drawers and lift up wall units.
We also had a space tower and larder unit made at a reduced depth so that it didnt take up too much room in the kitchen. The space towers are a fantastic way for storing your food, all drawers operate individually giving you access from all 3 sides.
And the final finish…..
This kitchen just shouts elegance ! It is so sharp and crisp and looks unbelievably fresh! With the rows of drawers it just runs so smoothly especially with the wall cupboards above matching up perfectly!
It is finished off perfectly with the light grey glass splashback running the entire way round and not to mention the little pops of colour from the herb plants!
We are so pleased with the overall look of this kitchen, it really does look amazing!
At the end of the summer, we designed and project managed this lovely kitchen! Our client wanted to make her kitchen a lighter, brighter space as she spends a lot of her time in there. The current kitchen was black gloss which made it feel quite dark and as it is a big room there was a lot of black.
We left the layout pretty much the same as it was before with same minor changes, such as reducing the island down just to create that bit more space and moving the position of the hob.
Here are some before photos:-
Like most of our kitchens we project managed the entire renovation, such as arranging the plumber, electrician, plasterer and decorator whilst fitting the flooring ourselves.
Our customer opted for a 5 piece vinyl shaker with dust grey on all base units and light grey on the wall units, this was paired up with a gorgeous sparkly white laminate which really does reflect a lot of light! We had the addition of all Neff appliances including the very popular hide & slide oven.
What a transformation!
Little pops of colour was added in through the red glass splashback and the lime green tap! Which just gives it that extra bit of added character!!
We love how this space has transformed!!!
Earlier on in the summer, we designed and installed this beautiful kitchen. The customers had been living in their house for a few years now and had completely modernised the property throughout and the kitchen was the last room on their list.
As you can see from the before photos (below), the kitchen was rather dated and the way the kitchen was designed, was causing lack of space. So the customers knew straight away that they wanted to remove the oven and knock that space right back to make the room square again. By doing this it allowed us to design the kitchen with more storage space.
Our customers knew that they wanted an ultra modern kitchen, so they opted for a smooth painted J-Handle door in two shades of grey, Graphite & Light grey paired with pure white solid surface! The combination looks just stunning.
With the simple addition of the scaffold shelves, it just finishes off the room perfectly! Not to mention that it is dressed very well!
We hope our that our lovely customers have many years of joy, using their beautiful new kitchen!
Not only do we design and install brand new kitchens, we quite often do door changes. Something simple like a door change and making a couple of additional changes still gives that impact of a new kitchen but without all the disturbance!
Our customers have a new build property and never had a chance to choose the kitchen that they really wanted, so they decided to change the worktops and doors. What really made the difference was by adding some more cabinets underneath the window area and moving the hob to a central part of the kitchen.
This is what the kitchen looked like before:-
In a short period of time, this kitchen was totally transformed, finished off by the addition of the white subway tiles and the oak shelves!
It really does look like a totally new kitchen, it feels so warm and homely. We hope our customers enjoy using their new kitchen!
Thanks for reading.
Earlier this year, Dawlish Kitchens & Bedrooms Ltd completely re-designed this kitchen. By knocking through a wall into the dining area, it allowed us to create a much larger kitchen, with endless storage! Something that had been a struggle before.
The customers chose a timeless 5 piece shaker door in dust grey and matched it with a rustic worksurface. Finding a space to work in this kitchen will never be an issue!
We feel that the tiles completely finish the look of this kitchen and just love the breakfast bar area.
We look forward to creating many more kitchens like this!
